Barry has been the Lead Pastor at GracePoint Church since 2005 after serving 20 years as a Youth Pastor. In 1985, he married his college sweetheart, Candy, and they have been blessed with three incredible daughters. They are also Papa and Nana to a grandson and granddaughter.

In 2011, Barry authored Dream House: Blueprints to a Healthy and Happy Home. His next book, Secret Baggage: From Bondage to Freedom, will be published sometime in 2021.

Barry grew up in San Jose, CA and is an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers, SF Giants and Golden State Warriors. He is also a huge fan of the Seattle Mariners. He enjoys living life with Candy, working in his yard, and being outside in the sunshine.

Barry’s favorite book in the Bible is Colossians and his favorite subject is heaven. However, his biggest passion is teaching God’s Word in a way that people can understand and seeing life-change as a result.
