SECURE ME – BEING A VICTIM, LESS (WEEK 5)
Welcome to a New LifeGroup Session!
Before we jump into our study, let’s take a moment to remember that there are THREE things we want to see happen every time our LifeGroups gather:
– Movement towards Each Other
– Movement towards God
– Movement towards our Community
Our questions follow this same format. All of the questions are designed towards movement. We hope you enjoy your time together in your LifeGroup.
**Remember, our goal is to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other. Use the questions that are help and skip the rest.
CURRENT SERIES: Secure Me
Everyone struggles with insecurity. As soon as you read that something popped into your head. I believe that insecurity is part of the original sin of mankind. We had security in God, then we lost it and we’ve been trying to get it back ever since. It’s about all of us dealing with our insecurity and how we can learn to live securely in God when we understand where that security truly comes from and how it can change our lives.

Is there a regret in your life that is keeping you from moving forward? What would it look like for you to give that over to God?

How do we know there will be trouble in this world?
How should that make us feel? Explain
Have you ever known someone who got stuck in their tragedy?

When we are wronged, why is it so hard to forgive?
What if God doesn’t handle the person the same way you would?

How does Christ’s peace look different than the world’s peace?
What does peace look like in your life?
Look at John 16:33 again. What does it mean to you that Christ has overcome the world?
How does that give us comfort?
How can Christ “overcome” a wrong that was done to you by someone else?
