Secret Baggage – Generational Sin (week 1)

Gracepointkitsap   -

Welcome to a New LifeGroup Session!

Before we jump into our study, let’s take a moment to remember that there are THREE things we want to see happen every time our LifeGroups gather:

– Movement towards Each Other
– Movement towards God
– Movement towards our Community

Our questions follow this same format. All of the questions are designed towards movement. We hope you enjoy your time together in your LifeGroup.
**Remember, our goal is to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other. Use the questions that are help and skip the rest.

CURRENT SERIES: Secret Baggage

Each of us has unresolved issues that we carry around. In a word, it’s called baggage. Although you do your best to ignore it, conceal it, or fake it, your baggage burdens your life while slowly squeezing out hope for your future. Before passing your baggage on to your children, let’s unpack this dead weight so you can begin living a life of freedom that God desires for you.

Last Week: Spend time reading John 3:16-17 this week. Do you know Jesus? Then thank Him this week. If you don’t, why not?

Two Weeks Ago: Is there an offense that you need to release to God? Spend some time in Romans 12:14-21 this week

Key Verse:

And the Lord was with him; wherever he went out, he prospered…” 2 Kings 18:7
