Secret Baggage – Enabling (week 2)
Welcome to a New LifeGroup Session!
Before we jump into our study, let’s take a moment to remember that there are THREE things we want to see happen every time our LifeGroups gather:
– Movement towards Each Other
– Movement towards God
– Movement towards our Community
Our questions follow this same format. All of the questions are designed towards movement. We hope you enjoy your time together in your LifeGroup.
**Remember, our goal is to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other. Use the questions that are help and skip the rest.
CURRENT SERIES: Secret Baggage
Each of us has unresolved issues that we carry around. In a word, it’s called baggage. Although you do your best to ignore it, conceal it, or fake it, your baggage burdens your life while slowly squeezing out hope for your future. Before passing your baggage on to your children, let’s unpack this dead weight so you can begin living a life of freedom that God desires for you.
Last Week: We may have been influenced, but we get to decide how we live. What would walking in the Spirit look like for you this week? (Galatians 5:24-25)
Two Weeks Ago: Spend time reading John 3:16-17 this week. Do you know Jesus? Then thank Him this week. If you don’t, why not?
Key Verse:
“And he said to them, “Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all these people. 24 No, my sons; it is no good report that I hear the people of the Lord spreading abroad.” 1 Samuel 2:23–24
