About the series:

Jesus encountered people who were skeptical of him as well as those who were deeply scarred by the pains from life on a fallen world. This is still true today. We will take a closer look at these stories of skeptics and scars from the Gospel of Mark and how they apply us today.

About this week's message:

We don’t know the backstory of how this man became paralyzed. Jesus, however, saw beyond his physical condition and wanted to heal him of his real need: the forgiveness of his sins. This declaration revealed a different kind of paralyzation within the audience: pharisaical paralyzation.
